5. Weather 5.1 What to expect? Weather conditions in Malaysia are very unpredictable, but its climate can be described as typical tropical with a quite high relative humidity (between 70 and 90 percent). Top 5.2 Will it be hot? Will it be cold? Day temperatures reach maximum 35 degrees Celsius, while at night the temperature might drop to 25 degrees Celsius. In the jungle the temperature might not reach such high level, but it will be much cooler during the night and especially during and after rain. Top 5.3 Will the high relative humidity affect me in any way? Yes it might. The higher the humidity, the more difficult it is for your sweat to evaporate in the air. As such, temperatures might be experienced about 3 to 5 degrees Celsius higher than they actually are. Top 5.4 Will it rain? Even the best weather forecaster wouldn't know. Generally speaking Malaysia has a dry season from June to September and a rainy season from December to March. So come prepared! Top 5.5 Will I need protection for the elements? Yes you do. Apply water-resistant sunblock and wear a cap that protects your neck as well. Top
